Borough, Bankside & Walworth Community Council has endorsed the introduction of an estate parking permit scheme on Tabard Gardens North. Statutory consultation will now take place as part of the making of the traffic managementorder. The process for statutory consultation is defined by national regulations. The council will place a proposal notice in proximity to the site location and alsopublish the notice in the Southwark News and the London Gazette.  The notice and any associated documents and plans will also be made availablefor inspection on the council’s website or by appointment at its 160 Tooley Street office.

Discussion was due to take place at the meeting of Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council meeting this evening, 29th September. However, it seems that some relevant information had not been included by officers and so the councillrs took the decision to defer the matter for clarification. Presumably this will now be discussed at the next meeting, which is not scheduled until29th November!!

Parking permit scheme update.

The parking permit scheme proppsed for Tabard North is due to be discussed by councillors at Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council meeting Monday 29thSeptember 2014. It is listed on the agenda for discussion at approximately 9.20pm.

Meeting starts at 7pm, at Amigo Hall, St. George’s Cathedral, Lambeth Road SE1 6HR (at the junction with St. George’s Road).

From 6pm, representatives from Southwark Citizen Advice and Southwark Council’s Rightfully Yours team are available to offer advice on financial issues [including benefits], along with other financial advisors such as London Mutual Credit Union.
