Wrap up warm for Southwark Council’s annual fireworks display, back with a bang this November as we light up the skies over Southwark Park during a special Fireworks Night event.

There will be a whole host of things happening on the night to keep you entertained: pop tunes, fire and light circus performances, and a family funfair. Hot drinks and food and luminous paraphernalia will all be available to buy on-site.

The gates will be open from 5pm with the main display at 7pm.

Try to arrive early. Because of the numbers of people who want to see Southwark’s fireworks it takes a long time to access the site through the gates. The earlier you arrive the more likely you are to get a great view and avoid the long queues.

Please note: we encourage you to take advantage of this free event and leave the fireworks to those specially trained to handle them. Fireworks are a cause of serious fires and injuries every year when not used responsibly and can be very dangerous to the user and others around them.

Accessibility:
Blue badge parking, and a drop-off/pick-up point is available on site via the entrance on Hawkestone Road.

There will be a viewing platform reserved for those who need it.

Southwark Park is a combination of large expanses of grass with tarmac and paved paths. There are no sheltered areas for the audience and the weather and ground conditions may be variable (it is often drizzly and soggy).

Please check the weather forecast and wear appropriate warm clothes and shoes.

Accessible toilets will be available on site, all of which will be signposted.
