I’m pleased to let you know that the London South Bank University Legal Advice Clinic will re- open to the public on Tuesday 27th Sept 2016 after our summer vacation.
The Clinic is a free drop-in service 5 minutes’ walk from Elephant & Castle staffed by LSBU Student Volunteers under the supervision of practising solicitors (myself, Alan Russell and my colleague Sara Chandler).
- We provide basic information on any topic
- We provide generalist advice in any social welfare law matters (except immigration)
- We signpost and refer to appropriate local advice and legal services
- We provide specialist legal advice in family, housing and employment at Thursday evening sessions (accessible via our daytime drop-in)
The Clinic is located at Caxton House, 13-16 Borough Road, Southwark SE1 0AA.
Public drop-in sessions take place on Tues 10am to 12 noon, Wed 10am-12noon, Wed 3pm-5pm during term-time only. Our resources are limited – we aim to see around 6 people per session.
Our public telephone number is 020 7815 5450 and our email is legaladvice@lsbu.ac.uk (but please note we do not provide advice by phone or email).
Please find attached our new leaflet. We will be posting out hard copy leaflets to advice agencies in Lambeth and Southwark shortly.
We would be grateful if you would promote our service widely. Our service is not postcode restricted.
Kind regards
Catherine Evans
