Transport for London is consulting on whether to expand the ULEZ zone to help tackle air pollution and congestion. Most vehicles must meet emissions standards or pay to enter the zone (currently everywhere inside the north and south circular). Most of Southwark is already within the ULEZ, and the proposal is to extend the zone to most of Greater London from August 2023.
