About Southwark 2030
Southwark 2030 is your chance to help shape the future of our borough. We want to bring people together, from all parts of our community, to talk about and help decide the place we all want Southwark to be by 2030. There are lots of ways to get involved in Southwark 2030. Please join in!
Register your interest: Southwark 2030 focus groups
We’re looking for volunteers from all parts of our community to come to focus groups – called ‘conversations’ – to talk about their hopes for Southwark in 2030. You can express an interest now. Participants will get a £20 voucher.
Fill in the Southwark 2030 survey now
Tell us about your hopes and ambitions for Southwark in our survey. You can pick topics that are most important to you and then tell us more about them. It should take about 10 minutes to complete (longer if you choose more topics).
Run a Southwark 2030 listening event
We’re looking for local groups to run events to get views from people who may otherwise not be heard. We have a toolkit to help you run your own event or we can run a session during your regular meeting.

Cost of living help this winter
1. Help if you can’t afford food or can’t access food
Information on food banks and low-cost food pantries, crisis help, help for pregnant women and young children, and more is on our website.
2. Warm spaces in Southwark over winter
As the cost of living and heating our homes increases, we’ve opened 40 warm spaces across the borough. In these spaces you can keep warm, have a cup of tea or take part in an activity. Some spaces also offer food and cost of living advice too.
3. Check if you could get a Council Tax reduction
You could get Council Tax reduction if you’re on a low income or claim benefits. Your bill could be reduced by up to 100%, depending on your circumstances.
4. Check what benefits you’re entitled to
Answer a few quick questions about your personal circumstances and check you’re getting all the benefits and other financial support you’re eligible for.
If you’re housebound or have a vulnerable person in your home, we can check you are getting all the welfare benefits you can and help you make a claim.
5. More cost of living help
