Hello!

The Unicorn Theatre is looking to start a FREE regular term-time after-school Drama club from January/February 2016 to take place weekly at the Tabard Community Hall/Hanky hall open to resident children and young people from Tabard Gardens and neighbouring estates. The Unicorn Theatre is a leading children’s theatre on Tooley Street, London Bridge.

We are still working out the details and we would like to talk to families and children about this exciting opportunity!

We are inviting families from Tabard Gardens to meet us at the Tabard Community Hall on Monday 21st December at 1.30pm – 4pm for some festive fun!

On the 21st, there will be a FREE Drama taster workshop run by the Unicorn Theatre for 7-12 year olds, there will be a making activity for all ages and some festive snacks. There will be an opportunity to talk to Sally who works at the Unicorn about the Tabard Gardens Drama club – if you want to express your interest and sign up.

Please note, that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the 21st. Places on the taster Drama workshop are limited and will run at a set time so please do contact Sally to book your child a place on the free Drama workshop. Otherwise, feel free to pop down to the hall and say hello on the 21st

Baddies: The Musical

  • 147 Tooley Street

So you think being bad is wrong? Think again…

  • Book and Lyrics by Nancy Harris
  • Music and Lyrics by Marc Teitler
  • Story by Nancy Harris and Marc Teitler
  • Directed by Purni Morell

Sure, I eat people’s grandmothers once in a while, but that doesn’t make me a bad person…
it makes me a good villain.

The Big Bad Wolf’s in trouble – he’s been ripped out of his story and thrown in jail for being too good at being bad. But being the villain’s the best part, everyone knows that…

This Christmas, someone’s decided to change the fairytale rulebook and no-one seems to know why. How are you supposed to tell who the good guys are when there are no baddies around? Step into the lives of everyone’s favourite villainous characters and find out.

This sublimely entertaining and larger-than-life new family show is sure to be the baddest musical in town!
