Knife Crime – The Big Talk Event – Tuesday 28 February

The Deputy Mayor Sophie Linden will be hosting an interactive Big Talk event to engage both young people and practitioners about knife crime in London.

The Big Talk event will be held on: Tuesday 28 February, 6pm to 9pm at Sedgehill School, Sedgehill Road, London, SE6 3QW

You are invited to join us and participate at this event, which will be a good opportunity to hear directly from young people on their views on knife crime and youth violence, and, also for you to provide any insights which you would like to share. There is a strict maximum of 100 attendees, I would be grateful if you could register your attendance using the link below, but also confirming your attendance with myself.

ü The dialogue will be made up of 3 circles, the Outer circle: where participants will discuss the three set questions on social media, using #BigTalk01.

ü The Middle circle: observes the discussion and the Inner circle: participants sit and share their views. Once they have made their points, others can tap them on the shoulder and ask them to leave so that other people can have their say.

ü The only rule is you must enter the inner circle before you talk.

We really do hope that you can attend. Please register here for a free ticket. If you are unable to attend, may I ask that you share this invitation with a representative who could attend on your behalf. Also please do feel free to share this with any young people who you think would be interested in attending.

Kind regards
