Housing services at your fingertips

housingservices_280x230From repairs to rents and service charges, council tenants and leaseholders across Southwark can now access all their essential housing services online via the housing services portal on MySouthwark.

At the click of a button tenants and leaseholders can request new repairs online, monitor their progress and keep an eye on their repairs history. Tenants can also view their rent account in real time and leaseholders can view their service charge account.

MySouthwark also allows residents to view information about their area and gives people 24/7 access to their council tax account, benefits, libraries and a wide range of other services. You can now also use it to register to vote.

Cllr Fiona Colley cabinet member for finance, strategy and performance, said: “Southwark Council is always looking for the best ways to provide a better service for a lower cost and putting the best value for money for our taxpayers at the heart of everything we do.

“MySouthwark is a great tool for helping people in Southwark access council information and services that are important to them 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 356 days a year.”

More than 80,000 Southwark residents have already signed up and are accessing council services at their own convenience. To sign up for your own personalised account go to http://www.southwark.gov.uk/mysouthwark or click on the MySouthwark tab on the website.
