| London remains in Tier 4 and you must continue to follow the Government Tier 4 coronavirus restrictions, meaning that you must not leave your home and only travel for work (where you cannot work from home) or for other legally permitted reasons.
With no public event to attend or late-night hospitality, our Tube and Rail services will not run all night on New Year’s Eve. Buses will run a Saturday service through the night. Customers who do need to use the transport network should complete their journeys as early as possible and before midnight. You must not travel into central London on New Year’s Eve unless this is for work or other legally permitted reasons.
Only travel if you must, in line with the current Government restrictions, stay local and reduce the number of journeys you make. If you do need to travel, please walk or cycle where possible. Please also check live service information and check before you travel. |
